Our Mission

Our goal is to give your child the tools, confidence and vocabulary in performing arts. Students will also gain qualities applicable throughout all aspects of life. We provide our students with the knowledge, vocabulary, strength and confidence to succeed in the professional world as performers. 

American Dance School (ADS) focuses on premium technique, training, and developmental skills, within an enjoyable and supportive setting.

We teach your children that hard work does not always need to be a chore, it can be your passion!

About Our Director- Jillian Clipsham

Jillian was born and raised in sunny South Florida, USA where she began extensive dance training very early on. She trained in all styles of dance, working with directors Eirberto Jiminez, Deborah Buttner, and Hannah Baumgarten; varying from The Royal Ballet, Cuban Classical Ballet, The International Ballet Company, and Dillard Center for the Arts

Jillian attended Point Park University, in Pittsburgh, PA where she studied Dance and Musical Theatre. After college, Jillian performed and choreographed with Norwegian Cruise Lines, the leading cruise company for entertainment, as a singer/dancer and dance captain. She worked with many choreographers from New York to Vegas which include: Patti Wilcox, Eric Jordan Young, Robert Dean Hertenstein, and Tiger Martina

 In between life at sea, Jillian performed and choreographed for Theme parks and other entertainment companies.  In addition to her singing and dancing, Jillian has made appearances in movies and television including: Love and Other Drugs, Bloodline, and various commercials.


Creative Movement

Ages- 2.5-4: Creative Movement allows your child to explore movement though music.


Every Student is required to attend a ballet class at least once a week. The foundation of all styles of movement. Ballet focuses on technique through barre and center work.Training styles consist of Cecchetti and  Vaganova. You will also focus on the study of vocabulary and terminology.

Musical Theatre

 Musical theatre is a form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting, and dance. As an artist, you can really develop your skills as a performer to give you that extra star quality. 

Hip Hop/ Commercial 

Street styles of dance performed to Hip Hop music. Moves venture through popping, jerking and improvisational skills 


Inspired by modern dance, contemporary/lyrical dance is a style based around shapes and fluidity. This form of dance has a lot of floor work, as well as quick changes in movement and direction. While continuing your technique, contemporary allows you as a dancer to find your creative journey .



High energy, stylized movement, while maintaining your technique. Jazz allows you to test boundaries, rhythms and gravity.

Break Dance

All boys break dancing is full of fun, tricks and a more athletic form of street dance. Taught by the amazing Mr. Alex.


Ages 3+ We give your child the chance to gain another skill which is very important in today's world of dance. This class helps every dancer learn acrobatics and tumbling skills in a safe setting. Taught by gymnastics coach, Miss Poppy.
